A fusion blend of world rhythms from Bulgaria , Russia , South America , Turkey and Scandinavia , The Polskadots deliver a dynamic and rich combination of powerful instrumentals on fiddle, box, mandolin and percussion, interspersed with soulful Eastern European songs. What emerges from this lively consortium of musical talent is an energetic journey which charts its way through far off, colourful, and alluring lands.
Based in Cork , they have been drawing serious music enthusiasts since their formation in 2005 when a captive and riveted audience jumped on the Polskadot’s wagon.
