INTERESTED IN ART CLASSES?

LAST CHANCE!!

I am pleased to inform you that, pending numbers, we will be commencing an 8 week Adult Art Course, on Wednesday 24th January @ 7pm- 9pm.

The teacher is a qualified and very experienced Art Teacher and practising artist, and will cater for your interests in various media. The cost for the 8 week course is €95 and is payable on the first night of the course.

The deadline for enrolling on this course is Friday 12th January, so if you would like to avail of this opportunity, kindly get in touch to confirm your interest at your earliest convenience.

Also note that a minumum of 8 people is required for us to run the class, so spread the word!

The People's Republic of CORK Organic T- Shirts available on Friday 23rd March, 2007 The People’s Republic t-shirts are made from organic Indian cotton in non-exploitative factories. Our designs are hand screen printed in Ireland. Organic cotton is the best quality cotton you can wear: soft, durable and moisture absorbing. Our t-shirts have a shoulder seam strip, double stitching and 5% Lycra in the neck hem to maintain shape, appearance and comfort. Conventional cotton production uses one quarter of the world’s pesticides and has seriously detrimental effects on the health and livelihood of small Third World producers. Organic cotton production is helping to break this poverty trap.We don’t charge more for organic cotton. Instead, we ask you to help spread the word. Production is independently certified by Skal International to EU2092/91 standards for Sustainable Textile Production, including minimum standards for working conditions and pay. We don’t use chemical stiffeners and make our garments slightly bigger to allow for a slight (<4%) shrinkage.
