Cork Printmakers Summer Show

Our thanks to all those exhibitors, and attenders who came to Arthaven on Friday last, the 25th August, for the opening of The Cork Printmakers Summer Show. It was great to see some new faces in the gallery, and as ever, we appreciate the on going support of our Crosshaven Patrons.

Special thanks too must go to Simon Coveney M.E.P whose kind words of support, for both The Cork Printmakers and Arthaven were a happy reminder of the importance of quality artistic endeavour and it's place in our community as a whole.

Cork Printmakers Summer Show opened by Simon Coveney MEP

A selection of work from The Cork Printmakers opens on Friday 25th August, 2006 @ 1930hrs and will run until September 13th. Printmaking methods employed range from traditional techniques such as screen printing, lithography and etching to more modern evolving techniques such as photo intaglio and digital prints.


The show will include work from Johnny Bugler, David Connolly, Lorraine Cooke, Maryann Darmody, Debbie Godsell, Evelynn Goold, Valerie Gleeson, Sean Hanrahan, Catherine Hehir, Mae Holland, Marianne Keating, Jo Kelley, Kate Lyons, Frieda Meaney, Donna Mc Namara, Noelle Noonan, Amelia Norman, Michael O'Connor and Kate Walsh.

Bright Shiny Days in Crosshaven

In keeping with the super warm times of this happy month of sunshine, Arthaven is pleased to host an ever changing bright show of multi disciplined and widely scoped work from artists, such as Suzanne Leutenegger, John Jermyn, Kerry Collins, Sheena Jolley, Tom Campbell, Patrick Barry, Eileen Healy, David Connolly, Sheila Kelleher, Michael Ray, Anthony Ruby, Sabine Weissbach, Ray Murphy among many others.

Meanwhile, we are very much looking forward to the forthcoming show later this month from The Cork Printmakers, where a number of members will show their work.
